Massachusetts Eating Disorders & Body Confidence Advocacy Day
The Massachusetts State House - Boston, MA

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING, PLEASE EMAIL KDONOHUE@NATIONALEATINGDISORDERS.ORG.

Please Join STRIPED, MEDA, NEDA, My Power People, and Be Real USA for an Eating Disorders & Body Confidence Advocacy Day at the Massachusetts State House!

Don't stay silent! Your voice CAN be a catalyst for change.

We invite you to join us as we educate lawmakers about eating disorders and advocate in support of two Massachusetts House bills to promote body confidence in young people. If passed into law, H.1942 will keep dangerous diet pills and muscle-building supplements out of the hands of Massachusetts youth, and H.3892 will help to get rid of digital alteration of ad images that promote harmful beauty norms.

We will meet with Massachusetts lawmakers from across the state to educate them about the dangers of these products and unrealistic ad images and ask for their support as we work to ensure the body confidence and health of our youth.

No prior experience is necessary - you will be placed on a team with other advocates who care as much as you do about eating disorders and healthy body confidence in kids and will receive a comprehensive training before you head into any meetings. Help us make a difference in the fight against eating disorders!
