Welcome to Our Personal Page to Help Support NEDA
Dear Friends & Family:
Thank you for visiting our personal fundraising page! As many of you will understand, we have dedicated this to our beautiful daughter Molly, who has been battling anorexia for nearly 3 years.
Did you know that 30 million men and women will suffer from an eating disorder in their lifetimes? Perhaps you even know someone, or maybe someone close to you is suffering and you wouldn't even know it. This is one of the many reasons that we are participating in a NEDA Walk in Fort Wayne on Saturday morning, April 22nd to benefit the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA)!
NEDA is a nonprofit organization that provides lifesaving programs and services to individuals and families affected by eating disorders. NEDA is dedicated to erasing the stigma surrounding eating disorders, promoting positive body image and discouraging dangerous diet behaviors.
We are asking for your support to help us reach our fundraising goal. Donating to our fundraising page is a way for you to not only show your support for us and our daughter Molly, but also to show your support for the millions of individuals and families affected by eating disorders. We would also warmly encourage and welcome any of you that would like to join us for the walk on Saturday, April 22nd.
Since 2009, NEDA Walks have been bringing communities together nationwide in the fight against eating disorders. NEDA Walks raise funds for NEDA’s lifesaving programs that help thousands of people every day!
Your contribution will help fund NEDA’s national Helpline, National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, NEDA Navigators and countless other lifesaving programs.
Any amount you can contribute, big or small, will make a difference in the fight against eating disorders. With your help, we are one step closer to our fundraising goal.
Thank you so much for your support! You can also help by forwarding our page to anyone you think might want to support the cause with us!
God Bless, and all the best!
Sam & Maggie Schenkel
