MORGAN'S WARRIORS

On October 30, 2016, at 11:31 p.m., Eating Disorders took the life of Morgan Claire Dunn.

For that is what Eating Disorders do.  It takes their victims, drags them into the shadows, into the darkness and then, slowly squeezes the life from them.  It isolates them from their family, their friends, their loved ones. And only then, it kills them.

Ordinarily, when another victim is claimed (and they are claimed once every 62 minutes), the surviving family may start a foundation (we have), refer to their loved one as being "lost," and as being an "angel." And they live their remaining years feeling lost, or helpless or bereft.  Well, that was not Morgan.  And it is not us.

Morgan was full of life, laughter, love and compassion.  She would not want us to remember her as being a victim... as simply being, "An Angel."  No!  She is a Warrior Angel, a mighty sword in one hand, a shield in the other and she has a powerful voice that will be heard.  She had the Heart of a Lioness and the Soul of a Warrior.

So, in Morgan's honor, and in honor of the hundreds of thousands of those who are standing with Morgan now, Warrior Angels all, whose combined one mighty voice must be heard,  we are calling upon her classmates, her counselors, her doctors, her friends, her treatment sisters, my business colleagues and clients, her mother's friends, loved ones and colleagues.

We call upon you to stand up and be heard!  We call upon you to spread awareness and knowledge! We call upon you to save lives!  We call upon you to donate.  We call upon you to give.  We call upon you to stand up for that Army of Warrior Angels and be their Voice! It is OUR TIME now.  No more will we go gentle into that night.

Thank you for your love and your support.
